Who we are and what this notice covers

FASE Global Ltd is a technology-led organisational management business for professional football and sport. We are the controller responsible for the personal information we use for our website and business enquiries.

This draft describes the features implemented in this website. It does not describe the separate live Wix website or future FASE software services. Provider arrangements, lawful-basis assessments and retention schedules require owner review before launch.

Information we use and why

Business enquiries

The Contact form collects your full name, email address, message and enquiry type, plus any organisation, role and phone number you choose to provide. Enquiries are stored in the website’s cloud database for authorised administrators to read in a private inbox and respond to your priorities or arrange a conversation. Submission time and a hashed network address support abuse-prevention limits; hashing does not necessarily make this information anonymous. The form does not accept attachments. If you email us instead, we receive the information you include through our mailbox.

Administrator accounts

The editor sign-in, account-creation and password-reset features process email addresses, passwords, authentication sessions and account identifiers through the website’s authentication service. Editor access is granted separately through administrator roles. An account does not itself give permission to edit publications.

Insights publishing

Publication records may include author names and roles, article text, images, reports, dates and the editor’s account identifier. These are used to prepare and publish Insights and manage attribution. Public article pages retrieve published records only; draft previews require administrator access.

Visitor comments

If you submit a comment, we receive the display name and comment you provide, the article identifier and submission time. A hashed network address supports abuse prevention and submission limits. The form also checks a hidden anti-spam field and the time taken to submit; submissions flagged as automated are not stored by the comment handler. No email address is requested by the comment form.

Comments await moderation. Only approved comments are shown publicly, with their display name, text and date. Please do not include confidential information or unnecessary personal details about yourself or other people.

Article likes

A random browser identifier remembers your article likes. The server stores a hash of that identifier, the article identifier, a hashed network address and timestamps to maintain the count and limit abuse. A like is associated with a browser, not a registered visitor account. Hashing does not make these records necessarily anonymous for data protection purposes.

Technical requests and diagnostics

Opening pages, images, reports and fonts involves network requests to the services delivering them. Such requests can expose a network address and browser or request information to those services. Error-reporting hooks in the application can pass an error message, stack information and page path to the website platform when those hooks are available. Platform-level logging and retention have not yet been fully verified.

Lawful bases for processing

A lawful basis is required for each use of personal information. The following are proposed bases for this draft, not a completed legal assessment:

• Enquiries: legitimate interests in responding to business communications. Steps before entering a contract may apply where you request services in your own capacity; this does not automatically apply to every business contact.
• Administrator accounts and publishing: legitimate interests in managing authorised access, producing publications and maintaining the website securely.
• Comments and likes: legitimate interests in providing reader interaction, moderating submissions and preventing misuse, subject to assessing necessity and the effects on visitors.
• Legal obligations: where a specific obligation requires us to retain or disclose particular information.

The owner must confirm these bases and document any necessary balancing assessments before launch. Consent for storage or access to a device is a separate question under the rules explained in our Cookies notice; it is not implied by visiting this website.

Who receives information

Approved comments and published author information are available to anyone reading the relevant article. Enquiries, submitted comments and account information are handled through the website’s database, storage and authentication services. Authorised administrators manage publications and moderation.

This website uses Lovable Cloud for these website services. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. Business emails are handled by the email services used by you and FASE. The contracted legal entities, service roles, subprocessors and applicable terms must be confirmed before launch; this draft does not claim a verified processor list.

Share controls are links or actions you choose, not embedded social feeds. If you use LinkedIn, Facebook, X or WhatsApp sharing, the selected service receives the article link and, where applicable, its title. Email sharing opens your email application; copying a link uses your clipboard. Those services’ own privacy information applies to their subsequent handling.

International processing

Services delivering the website, fonts, authentication, storage or email may process information outside the UK. Hosting regions, access locations and any international transfer arrangements have not yet been confirmed for all services.

Before launch, FASE must establish where personal information is processed and whether any transfer requires an adequacy decision or other appropriate safeguards and assessments. No UK-only hosting or particular transfer safeguard is asserted in this draft.

How long information is kept

A final retention schedule has not yet been approved. The application does not currently implement a scheduled expiry for visitor enquiries, comments, likes or abuse-prevention event records. Time windows used to limit submissions are not deletion periods.

Administrators can approve, reject or delete comments. Rejecting a comment keeps it out of public view but does not delete its record. Unliking removes the associated like record; separate abuse-prevention events can remain. Clearing browser storage does not itself remove server records.

Retention decisions must consider the purpose of the information, ongoing enquiries or relationships, moderation and security needs, legal requirements and backup arrangements. Mailbox, account, publication, uploaded-file, log and backup retention periods still require confirmation. Signed download-link expiry is not a retention period.

Your rights and how to contact us

Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis, you may have rights to be informed, access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing and receive certain information in a portable form. These rights are not absolute.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. This draft does not claim that consent is the basis for every website feature.

Email info@faseglobal.org to ask a question or exercise a right. For a comment request, please identify the article, display name and approximate date; do not send passwords or authentication tokens. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Requests are normally answered within one month, subject to the applicable rules on clarification, extensions and exceptions.

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You do not have to contact us first. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint for information.

Your choices and notice updates

You can read Insights without registering, liking or commenting. Public articles do not require a visitor account. Choosing not to provide comment information means the comment cannot be submitted; you can contact us using the form or email instead.

No automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects has been identified in the implemented website. Anti-spam checks and submission limits affect enquiry or comment submission, and moderation affects comment visibility, not decisions about access to FASE business services.
